Favorite Instagram Post:
Instagram is a HUGE part of MRI. I love conceptualizing and dreaming up IG posts, but the ones that I love the most don’t always get the most love (or likes) from you. These are my favorite Instagram posts of 2018.
Going live on TV wasn’t easy but this was a memorable moment that I will always be grateful for!
Creative decor, do it for the Gram!
This was your favorite of the year too!

My Favorite Blog Post
One of my 2018 goals was to increase the MRI blog posts and something I am still working to improve. I love sharing my passion for interior design and how you can incorporate it into your own home. I also enjoy sharing MRI projects from the design concept to completion.
holiday post
Take a peek at my favorite three blogs of the year. The MRI Christmas Home Tour is one of my favorites. Having three Christmas trees truly created a magical winter wonderland that our entire family enjoyed (especially the cat).
interior design posts
Buying a sofa can be fun and terrifying at the same time and choosing a new sofa for our living room lead me to create How to Choose the Right Sofa for Your Room finding the right couch can change the feel of the entire room, and I LOVE LOVE our new sofa! Showcasing one of the favorite projects to date the office Birch Canoe Court Phase 2, A transitional home with bold selections made this office truly showstopping. Gosh, I love this home so much and I loved working with the client too!
Favorite MRI Design Projects
interior design
What I love most about interior design is it is continually evolving and challenges me to advance my design esthetic consistently and in turn allows me to grow. It was so hard to pick JUST one favorite project, but in the end, I selected Michelle Lane. Michelle Lane is a new construction home with a modern farmhouse feel. Farmhouse style isn’t the norm for me but I enjoyed the challenge, and I am OBSESSED with the final product. The money is in the details and this house does not disappoint.
interior styling
Another favorite project was this timeless dining room I did here in Houston! It is still my favorite!
Favorite Trends of 2018
Every year the interior gods forecast what will be the hottest design trends. Now, if you follow me and MRI you know I don’t love going overboard on trends. My motto is a little trend goes a long way, but with further ado here are my favorite trends of 2018 and just a hint I do not see these going away in 2019! Don’t take design too seriously!
brass vase with the most beautiful details
incorporating greenery into every space
those natural elements though! All the natural stones I can find
Magazine Worthy
Last but definitely not least, being featured in The Local 3 times!
Well, there you have it! MRI’s favorites of 2018. Every year looking back, it amazes me how fast the year went by and how much I am growing and MRI is growing. I am excited for the year to come and to share everything I have planned for myself and MRI!
