With kraft paper, the color options are endless, so regardless of your style, there is something for everyone. I love the matte appearance of craft paper, which means no glittery mess to clean up. I Like Big Bows & I Cannot Lie
Picking out your Christmas wrapping paper was easy, but could adding the “cherry on top” to your Christmas presents be even easier…I think so! I have a deep LOVE for Christmas Ribbon. Don’t be surprised if you are out and about and see me at any Christmas store staring longingly at all the gorgeous Christmas ribbon. But all ribbon is not created equal. Last year I shared my Christmas bow tutorial on IG TV where I discussed the importance of utilizing wired ribbon to create those big, bountiful Christmas bows. I also wrote a blog post showing you exactly how to decorate your Christmas tree like a pro when decorating your Christmas tree. While I do love the wired ribbon when wrapping up Christmas gifts, this year, I am loving the simple aesthetic. I opted to incorporate a variety of ribbon this year, giving each present it’s own personality. Using traditional ribbons mixed with decorative, ornate ribbons will make a big statement.

Top It Off
No, I am not telling you to top your drink off, but I do suggest that when the actual Christmas wrapping is taking place! You have fantastic wrapping paper and exquisite ribbon, but your gift is still missing that WOW piece. I love topping my gifts with a little treat. A few of my favorites are berries, small ornaments, pieces of extra greenery, rosemary, the list could go on and on. The key to these little treats is that they are inexpensive and simple, but make for such a statement! You can even bend the rosemary to make a mini wreath!

Last but not least, it’s time for the gift tag! The stickers, the tie tags, the options are endless; don’t underestimate the power of a nametag. Opt for a one that fits into your Christmas wrapping style. I am in love with custom family nametags, especially neutral ones that can be used year-round. Another great option is leaving off the tag entirely if you have good penmanship. Simply write on the craft paper, saving money! You could even add an initial ornament to the package!
My Personal Tip:
Every year I remove name tags from Maddox and Nick’s presents and save them for the next year. They are simple and neutral so they have worked for many years!

What Did I Use?
This year I used the craft paper, as mentioned above. I purchased it in black and white, in a nice matte finish. I then opted to get a green and a gold spool of leaf ribbon. Some boxes are wrapped using both while others only have one. I simply intertwined them together, layered, them or mixed them with a velvet ribbon. Get creative with it! To secure these to the box I used a hot glue gun. Speaking of, I hot glue paper instead of using tape; I prefer this look over a taped gift.
