Happy Fall, Ya’ll.
I hope you all are starting to pull out decorations and incorporate a little fall into your homes. I’m super excited to show you bits and pieces of some new fall decor throughout my home. It is truly one of the best times of the year (besides Christmas of course).
When you think of the fall season the first colors and/or theme that come to mind are rustic, country items, warm hues of brown, red, orange and green, and lots of pumpkin(spice). But I want to show you all another way to make fall work in your household. Use natural elements instead mixed with metallics and pops of colors to bring in a edgy, fresh fall feel. I have been using the color jade mixed in with my naturals and metallics and I am loving it all.
Use what you have to mix it up a bit. Add items to baskets/bowls that you have lying around the house. Throw in a colorful floral arrangement with a pumpkin or two next to it. Try leaving cozy throw blankets around the house, toss in some updated new pillows for the season, cluster up some pumpkins and don’t forget to mix in some mercury glass and greenery for an extra fall look. And remember to stage in even numbers (1,3,5, etc). Don’t be scared to try different things to create your own edgy look that fits in with your home decor!
