I have always believed you can learn anything you are passionate about. After extensive research, I’m proud to be a self-taught designer pursuing my dream full-time. My passion for interior design is a continuous journey of education, strengthening skills, and creating solid relationships with my clients.

Every project is curated with practicality while focusing on your design style and how it integrates into your busy life. Inspiration for all of my design projects is rooted in nature and travel. While design trends are inevitable, I stay at the forefront of them but prefer to keep a classic design as the primary setting for all projects. Organic elements and forms, breathable materials, design experiences, and layered textures are all critical elements of my design style. My extensive portfolio, showcasing various designs, displays my adaptation to all design challenges.

Senior Designer

Amanda is a seasoned professional in high-end design and fashion, specializing in modern contemporary styles. With extensive experience in home design and installation projects throughout the U.S., she excels at blending various materials to create cohesive monochromatic color palettes. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and her dedication to understanding her clients’ needs, Amanda consistently delivers exceptional results.

Residing in the Heights area, Amanda is inspired by her vibrant surroundings, which enhances her creative approach. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and taking her two doodles on adventures, finding joy in new experiences and making the most of her time away from the design studio. Her passion for design and client-focused approach makes her a standout in her field.

Vanessa Riley

Project Designer

Our talented Project Designer, Vanessa Riley, brings a unique blend of creativity and practicality to every project she undertakes. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Marketing, Vanessa honed her design sensibilities in high-end custom closets and storage solutions. This experience instilled in her a deep understanding of maximizing space and functionality without sacrificing style, a skill she now applies to crafting beautiful, budget-conscious interiors.

Vanessa has a true gift for seamlessly integrating family heirlooms and treasured pieces into her designs, effortlessly mixing high-end finds with more accessible décor. Her design philosophy centers around creating collected and personal spaces that reflect her clients’ unique stories and personalities. She believes a home should be more than just decorated; it should be a curated reflection of the lives lived within its walls.

A devoted mother of three, Vanessa enjoys spending her free time on the tennis court or cheering on her children at their baseball and volleyball games. Her warm personality, keen eye for design, and dedication to her craft make Vanessa an invaluable and cherished member of the Melissa Roberts Interiors team.

Camryn Stowe

Senior Designer

Camryn, our new Senior Designer, is a seasoned pro at harmoniously blending functionality and beauty. She effortlessly merges the warmth of traditional style with the sleek appeal of modern design. More than just creating beautiful spaces, she prioritizes attention to detail, her clients’ needs, and collaboration with her peers. This approach ensures that every design project she touches meets and exceeds expectations, delivering exceptional results every time.

Outside of her design work, Camryn’s creativity takes another form as a dance director and choreographer. When she’s not immersed in her creative endeavors, you’ll likely find Camryn on an adventure with her husband, baking up something delicious, or enjoying the great outdoors with her two toller retrievers. Her vibrant energy, passion for life, and dedication to her craft make her an integral and beloved part of our team.

Kendall Rainwater

Junior Designer

Kendall Rainwater, a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, is a budding interior designer with a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. A self-taught designer, Kendall embodies the spirit of a lifelong learner, constantly seeking new knowledge and honing her skills. She firmly believes in mastering design fundamentals and has immersed herself in the technical aspects of the craft, becoming proficient in programs like SketchUp to ensure a seamless and enriching client experience. This dedication to both the artistic and technical sides of design allows her to bring a well-rounded and innovative approach to every project at MRI.

With a keen eye for detail and a heart brimming with creativity, Kendall is quickly making a name for herself in interior design. Inspired by her grandmother’s legacy and being a gifted designer, Kendall is committed to carrying on that tradition of creative excellence. She brings a fresh perspective and unique vision to the field, contributing her considerable talents to the Melissa Roberts Interiors team and upholding the family legacy of inspired design.
