Ashdown Forest

dining room, navy walls, navy dining room, glamorous, glamorous dining room

We had the pleasure of working in Spring, TX on a dining room, office, powder bath and family room.  I’m so excited to show y’all these rooms!

We used all of my client’s existing furniture and added a few accent pieces.  I was thrilled and inspired by this client’s bold style!

How romantic!  This room gets plenty of natural light so a dark color on the walls was a must! So bold.  The etageres add glam while providing storage for keepsakes and the necessities for entertaining. Look at the uplight above the crown!  Paint used:  Benjamin Moore Hale Navy

The office.  Time will be well-spent in here admiring the art or admiring the outdoors…and working of course.  My client stenciled that wall and provided the shelves beforehand. We added the finishing touches!

(Those desks were not easy to move!)

This powder bath is so beautiful in person.  Wallpaper went up on all 4 walls AND the ceiling!  A new faucet, mirror and light were added.  And can you see the acrylic accents?  I like to get my clients a little something to say thank you for letting me work in their homes and do what I love doing.

These clients got those monogrammed hand towels!

And last, where they’ll likely spend most of their time…a stylish and functional family room. The poster-sized family prints are everything in this room!  The console table we added is the perfect spot for decorative touches and will ultimately provide storage for kids toys and blankets.  All the fun pops of color in this room make me happy.

More pics and details of each room…

Pops of aubergine against the navy wall!  The chandelier ended up having quite a presence once we painted.
Acrylic touches in this room too…the wine racks!
I’m proud to say WE arranged this faux floral bowl.  The stemmed mercury votive holders are perfect centerpiece accents.
The pattern on the rug is calming but also bold.  Neutrals can be fun!
I wish you could see the geode bookends better.  They’re an exotic shade of aubergine with an acrylic base.
We chose to paint the chair rail.  Do you like?

We added a new light, an accent pillow and new chairs.  Also, a fiddle fig leaf tree for an organic touch!
This rug is durable and stylish.  It’s trimmed in navy which compliments the dining room walls.
Matching desk chairs and a vintage airplane decorate the desk!
We relocated this seersucker chair from the family room and added a navy embroidered pillow.
Our client’s husband has a love for the Aggie’s and airplanes. We printed pics of planes and used memorabilia that was given to them as a gift. We of course hung their Aggie diplomas in the room as well!
Orb lighting and canvas artwork.

One of my very favorite rooms…ever!  Champagne hardware and acrylic accents.  I’m seriously in love.
The ceiling was wallpapered in a contrasting, geometric print.
A new faucet with a champagne finish.

Vibrant rug for the win.
Pops of color and some bright white accents.
This wall is beautifully adorned with a beautiful family!
 Again with the orange.  LOVE!
Window hardware used to tie back the curtains.
Another project in the books.  Let me know what you think!
