This project starts and ends with the most majestic picture window.
Definitely the focal point of the living room and kitchen.
Just look…!

Well, well, well! First of all: that window. My client wanted an unobstructed view so we framed it with window treatments on the sides only. Added a cozy bench and some pillows to complete the look.
This view shows the nook that came to life with family pictures and decor. And big change: wall color! This is Sherwin Williams Mindful Grey. A few weeks before the reveal, my client decided to paint the whole house! She loved how things were coming together and went all in.
How about the new ceiling fan and stone and mantel finish??
Complete transformation. Beautiful shot of the ceiling fan and mantel; we went down to one ceiling fan. The symmetry of the pieces that surround the fireplace…love!
The room is balanced with the spotlight on the picture window.
New Chesterfield sofa. (Do you want to see what’s going on in the kitchen? Soon!)
Wingback chairs with nailhead trim are always a good idea.
This may be one of the only pictures with the old rug, besides the before pictures. My client really wanted to keep it in the space but unfortunately it wasn’t the right size.
We found her a fabulous one that fit perfectly!!
All the pillows!
More pillows!!
These once surrounded the fireplace.
We moved them to the perfect spot just behind the sofa and styled them.
Once the living room was complete…we moved on to the kitchen!
How beautiful!! Probably my favorite view of this home. LOVE. Picture window! So much natural light…all the way to the kitchen.
Well, this view is pretty wonderful too.
The first thing we did was mirror the stone work and mantle finish to the vent hood. New back splash! The island was painted with Sherwin Williams Dorian Grey. New lighting. New bar stools. New look!
The quatrefoil inset and corbels turned out so beautifully, back splash too!
The painted island adds so much, another opportunity to add color and style to your kitchen!!
