Early January I was presented with an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. It is also an opportunity I would have never approached or reached for on my own. I am stoked that the chance was given to me and am also excited to share that this will happen quarterly for 2018 and hopefully for years to come!
Do you spend time thumbing through magazines or searching blog after blog and feel so inspired and motivated by all the wonderful tips and tricks you come by? I know I do! When Destiny Martin, founder & editor of The Local Magazine, reached out to me about collaborating on content for publication I was completely honored. Her work it truly amazing and the thought of having my ideas and projects including was unbelievable. I found myself reflecting on what I like to see and read about so that I could provide readers with something interesting but also I wanted to share fun tips that are easy to use and understand.
This 2 page story came together in just about 4 weeks. I spent lots of time stressing and doubting my abilities. This is where I constantly have to thank God for my husband who is so encouraging and believes in me more than anyone else. I was just about to wrap up a project in Spring, Texas where we decorated & styled a dining room. I was excited to feature this project since we incorporated most of the major design trends for 2018 into the space. I hope you will read the article and leave me feedback on your thoughts. I know I have so much room to grow and to get better so constructive criticism is definitely welcome!
