This nursery was created for a baby boy named Merrill. Momma wanted a room that didn’t scream baby, but instead a room that fits the little boy as he grows. She asked for “camp meets Americana.”
When we purchased this home, we loved that the backyard was a blank slate to work with. We hired Cory Adams to design our pool and patio, with probably too much input from myself. He nailed the design and executed our list of must-haves and wants!
Initially, we walked into this home and met the loveliest couple in a home that was dated, had odd angles, and was a bit dark. From the entry to the living room, we updated the paint, cabinetry, lighting… the works. The kitchen was a complete remodel.
We went to the drawing board, knocking down walls, reconfiguring spaces, and curating a simple design. All of this was done on a realistic budget considering resale in the future.
This client had a clear vision of their dream home, and we were able to curate a home they will love for years to come. Every inch of this home was custom designed with their family of five in mind.
