This week I am starting on a new project. Our laundry room is getting a makeover! I am so excited to share all the details with you. If you follow me on FB or IG be sure to keep in touch so you can see all the behind the scenes that I will be posting! I can’t get with the trend to use front loader washing machine and dryer which has made it difficult to find inspiration to give my top loaders the built-in appearance. I spent a couple of weeks knocking out a design for this space that has solved all my problems. Hopefully, you find inspiration that will help you with your laundry room!
BEFORE
Here are a few selections I have made so far!
The chandelier will be centered and replace the existing garage light.
Mosaic Wall Tile Selection
Cabinet Hardware
Faucet
Clothes rod that will hang above the washer and dryer
Hangers
The theme is monochromatic with brass accents. I love the white cabinets and the back-splash the builders selected. The washer and dryer wall is what needs the most help in my opinion. We will be making new doors for the white cabinets so that they match the new built-ins. The new cabinets will surround the washer and dryer with cubicles for baskets and a floating shelf for washing powder and everyday use. Here is a sketch I created to give the contractor my design ideas.
