MRI Living Room

Designing a living room layout can be overwhelming and stressful, especially when you’re working with a (probably realistic) budget. Pinterest rooms and those lovely magazine pictures are surely inspiring but can really leave you feeling defeated when you add up how much they actually spend to achieve those looks (minimum of 40k at least). Don’t let those numbers scare you. Creating a lux living room on a budget is definitely doable. I find it to be the most important to buy quality furniture. Most families use the living room as a gathering space which means high traffic. If you budget and spend smart then you can really create an inviting space that is both beautiful and functional. I do this by spending more on furniture (on quality pieces that will last) and finding great deals for accessories.

After taking my Christmas decor down, I struggled to arrange my living room to my liking. I finally made some progress so I decided to post new pics and the sources for the pieces I used. I have ordered throw pillows and other accent pieces that will add pops of color. See below for source links. Play around with the layout of your furniture until you find that it is functional for your family and your liking. It will take a lot of trial and error to find that perfect layout!
